Marcello Mastroianni at Marina di Pietrasanta, 1967
Marina di Pietrasanta (LU) - 08/1967
Pictured: Marcello Mastroianni with his wife Flora Carabella in a club
Lina Wertmüller on Flora Carabella: "Her relationship with Marcello was always exceptional. Her husband's other affairs were well known, but they all passed and he never left his wife because she was 'his Flora', whatever people say. It is a rule of life: the most elegant one keeps silent."
Marcello Mastroianni and Flora Carabella married in 1950 (some sources say 1948), and a year later their first daughter Barbara was born.
